The Ghosts of Gardner Village

Hammie Orr's little St. Johns cabin…the widow Walker's house built from freighters' materials…the Ahlstrom and Russell cabins now married together…the Johnsons with their amazing two-story Rush Valley cabin…and Archie Gardner and his mill…

Why were these structures, which would have been destroyed if they hadn't become part of Gardner Village, preserved? What stories needed
to be told?

Nancy Hanson, Rob Honey, Sam Payne, Tammy Robinson and Clive Romney have been talking with the Ghosts of Gardner Village and have created an evening of enchanting musical tales from the stories they've been told.

Archie himself will host each of four gatherings that will take place on Saturday, June 14th, at 12 noon, 2:30, 5:00 and 7:30 PM at The Gathering Place in Gardner Village. Tickets are $13 (the ghosts specified that price) and are available online at www.gardnervillage.com. Proceeds benefit Utah Pioneer Heritage Arts. Check back on this website for musical samples in the coming days.
